So this has been a problem for a long time now where bots join this forum. Like, we're almost at 1k members now and it doesn't seem to stop, so:
- How do we stop the bots?
I’d say either stronger captchas or a limit on accounts registered from a singular IP address (i.e. 5 accounts per IP)

I'd agree with @Grandma on the limit for accounts registered from a singular IP address but since brute force account registration is happening from what is seemingly a single IP, there still lies the issue of bypassing the 5 accounts from a singular IP, with the only way of stopping being to completely blacklist a computer's hardware ID.

hard one today say while there could be many things it all depends on what type of bot it is. Every bot is different and works in many different ways at the end so it is a mystery we will just have to wait and see
